The Backwoods is Making A Return!

How It Started

I started some rough version of The Backwoods back in 2019 under a working title. It was just supposed to be an on-the-fly story that I wrote as I went along. It was a fun liitle experiment that I got from another creator back then.

What Happened?

I found that this style of writing/art was not for me, which is fine! I just decided to try another tactic: write a chapter at a time and then draw it.

This also ended-up being a bit too cumbersome for my capabilities at the time. So, I took a step back and tried writing more. I've honestly always kinda just liked writing and illustrating single images, but always felt like it just makes more sense to combine the two.

I tended to get RSI's from drawing and would have to take long breaks. So, the comic just kinda stopped.

The New Plan!

Since I'm working on Comix Cleric, I have a spark to post on it. Give me another reason to keep the project alive. Not to say that will be all! But, certainly more incentive that I would otherwise have.

I couldn't guarantee a schedule. but I really want to get the writing finished and start drawing this again!
